Generating brand awareness around targeted key trade events


THE CLIENT

Nolato is a world-leading manufacturer of medical equipment who specialises in precision moulding of thermoplastics and silicones. Based in Torekov, Sweden, with a newly launched integrated solutions unit in southern China, Nolato’s offering covers the entire value chain, from development to volume production and the organisation have emerged as one of the agile and innovative providers of polymer products.

THE CHALLENGE

Our client was looking for brand awareness around particular key trade events throughout the year. Each show used specific media and they needed to identify the most appropriate media brands to promote our client’s participation in the event.

An annual MEDIA PLAN around key events

We undertook a comprehensive media plan research project, exploring every media brand (both print and digital platforms) in the industries our client serves and conducted analysis on each media brand, based on the following metrics: audience, reach/impressions, CTR, CPM and geographical coverage. We delivered a long-list and a shortlist of our recommendations to the client. After consultations with the client, we agreed upon a targeted shortlist of media brands.

Orientation Marketing carried out the booking of each asset handling all the ‘heavy lifting’ involved in booking the space, material preparation and deadline submissions. Following the management of each advertising campaign, we prepared full metrics for presentation back to the client. We also presented analysis of the performance of each media brand and asset for the benefit of future campaigns.

OUTCOMES

Our client was exhibiting at several major trade events and needed to establish awareness with a call to action to a hospitality and networking reception on their stand. We worked to secure positions in several major media titles that were associated with the trade shows and used the space to promote a stand reception. The reception was attended to full capacity. The Orientation Marketing and Nolato partnership still collaborate on various projects as we are set to meet with Nolato again to review their 2020 targets.
