Orientation Marketing appoints Digital Marketing Apprentice.
Orientation Marketing, a leading life science and pharmaceutical marketing agency operating within specialist B2B scientific sectors, today announced that it had appointed Lucy Clements as digital marketing apprentice to bolster its digital marketing capabilities at its Chester offices.
Gareth Pickering, Co-Founder and Director at Orientation Marketing, said, “We were impressed with Lucy when she spent time with us in 2021, and as we have expanded we welcomed her back last summer to help with client projects, and quickly decided to create a position for Lucy here in Chester.” He added, “We are so pleased with the progress Lucy has made and her contribution to the busy agency. Lucy joins the agency having studied business, psychology, and media studies at Upton-by-Chester High School, Chester. Lucy first gained work experience at Orientation Marketing in 2021 while studying at sixth form, and returned in the summer of 2023 before accepting her apprenticeship position. She is currently studying through an advanced digital marketer programme run by Apprentify, a leading apprenticeship training agency, where, alongside on-the-job learning, Lucy will develop her knowledge through formal training in social media, branding, search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC).
“I am delighted to have this opportunity to further my career in marketing and return to Orientation Marketing,” added Lucy. “Even while I was studying at school, I spent some of my free time undertaking online digital marketing courses, and that helped me build my knowledge of digital marketing, which I look forward to putting into practice in this new role.”
